Additional practice information
Following her residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where she was Chief Resident from 1997 to 1998, Dr. Hamilton moved to Georgia and entered private practice. From 1998 to June of 2001, Dr. Hamilton worked at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta. Dr. Hamilton has received specialized training in laser surgery, cosmetic surgery, the treatment of venous insufficiency, and Mohs’ / Skin Cancer surgery.

In July, 2001, Dr. Hamilton moved her dermatology practice to a beautiful, new facility in Alpharetta, Georgia. At her new location, Atlanta Dermatology, Vein & Research Center, Dr. Hamilton continues to offer her patients multiple services, including: general dermatology; cosmetic dermatology; laser surgery, including hair and tattoo removal; surgical and non surgical vein treatments; psoriasis treatment, including phototherapy; Mohs micrographic surgery; and dermatology clinical research. In 2008, Dr. Hamilton had to move her office once again to accomadate a growing patient base. The new building has room for all of the aspects of the practice.

Dr. Hamilton is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatological Surgery, the American College of Phlebology, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society of Angiology. She is also an active member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, the National Psoriasis Foundation, Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society and the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons. She is nationally recognized for her expertise in psoriasis, facial rejuvenation, Sculptra and other filler treatments and the treatment of leg veins.

Dr. Hamilton is concerned with the ongoing research and advances in the field of dermatology. She has been involved with multiple research publications and has been a presenter at numerous meetings and conferences. Dr. Hamilton also participates in clinical pharmaceutical research trials.
